This Position reports to:

Sales Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

The candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering the digital solutions appliable to energy industries. The candidate shall support the bids and proposal manager in delivering quality bids with proper and effective system design and with technical and commercial bid documents. The position will be based at INOPC at Bangalore for ABB Process Automation.

Energy Division for its digital business line.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industry division based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Demonstrated experience in multiple digital solutions listed above as applicable to various energy industries with a ‘can do attitude’ is a must.
• Experience and knowledge on any one DCS systems and Purdue architecture model.
• Good knowledge on IEC62443, ISA 88, ISA 95, IEC61508.
• Preparing complete cost estimation, technical scope, architecture for the scope of work.
• Work closely with the ABB Local division’s sales team to identify the customer requirements and to propose effective solutions.
• Knowledge on industrial network protocols Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, MQTT, REST API for various automation levels.
• Act as a pre-sales technical consultant with a good knowledge on sales life cycle.
• Identify the risks and possible mitigation solution.

Qualifications: BE Tech (Automation/Electrical/Instrumentation)

Experience Required:

8 to 10 years’ experience in Bids and Proposals / Pre Sales of various digital solutions with very good technical knowledge on Alarm Management, Enterprise Historian, BatchInsight, Edge Control, APC solutions, condition monitoring in domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries /Petrochemicals / Power &

Water/Hydrogen.
