The Sales Support Specialist will be accountable for the efficient front-line support for our sales organization, including the Business Development Managers (BDMs), the Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM), National Account Manager (NAM), Business Development Executive (BDE), the Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and the Regional Directors or Sales (RDOS). The Sales Support role is a combination of the tactical execution of support tasks and becoming a resource of knowledge and support for our sales organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the sales organization daily
  • Answer and document sales team calls and assist with field requests for assistance
  • Respond to Sales team and prospective customer emails daily
  • Update and manage various databases relevant to the sales organization
  • Use and understand various systems to execute daily tasks
  • Support Cozzini EDGE events and ad hoc projects
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements

Competencies and Education:

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in Sales Support and/or Customer Service
  • Strong Project Management skills with the ability to prioritize workload with multiple competing deadlines
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic to Intermediate understanding of Salesforce preferred (not a requirement)
  • Basic understanding of NetSuite ERP preferred (not a requirement)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Responds promptly to requests for service and assistance. Understands the need for excellent service to all customers and coworkers
  • Will need a dedicated space for working from home
  • Meets commitments, is punctual, and accepts responsibility for own actions
  • Treats people with respect and contributes to building a positive team spirit
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback

Physical and Visual Activities:

  • Daily, must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Must be able to frequently communicate through phone, email, text, and in-person methods, and constantly have visual acuity
  • Must be able to constantly operate computers and office equipment
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, may occasionally stand and/or move about the building, and/or reach, bend, or twist
  • Regular in-office attendance
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
