About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded communicator who enjoys identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospects, and crafting effective outreach messages. This role combines outbound prospecting, relationship building, and sales support, with a strong focus on generating qualified opportunities for the UK Sales team.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers in the UK market. Using a combination of phone outreach, email campaigns, CRM tools, online research, and AI-powered productivity tools, you will help build and nurture a strong sales pipeline while supporting the wider sales organization with administrative and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through databases, online research, websites, and CRM systems

  • Conduct outbound calls to generate qualified leads and sales opportunities for the UK Sales team

  • Engage prospects and assess business opportunities through effective questioning and qualification

  • Gather relevant customer and project information to support opportunity creation

  • Schedule appointments and meetings for Sales Representatives

  • Maintain a structured prospect pipeline and follow-up process

Email Outreach & Prospect Engagement

  • Execute targeted email campaigns and prospecting activities

  • Draft professional, engaging, and personalized email communications

  • Conduct follow-up activities through email and phone outreach

  • Build and nurture prospect relationships throughout the qualification process

  • Maintain consistent and professional customer experience across all communication channels

  • Support leading nurturing activities and sales campaigns

CRM & Sales Administration

  • Create and update leads, contacts, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce

  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect records

  • Track prospect interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions

  • Support opportunity management and pipeline updates

  • Prepare reports and provide administrative support to the Sales team

  • Ensure data quality and completeness within Salesforce

Sales Support & Commercial Coordination

  • Assist Sales Representatives with lead qualification and opportunity follow-up

  • Support quotation and opportunity tracking processes

  • Monitor project status and update CRM records accordingly

  • Coordinate customer information and documentation required for sales processes

  • Identify potential opportunities for upselling and future business development

Customer & Operational Support

  • Respond to customer and prospect inquiries via phone and email

  • Support customer follow-up activities and satisfaction initiatives

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely handling of requests

  • Assist with complaint management, return coordination, and general operational support

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for sales-related administrative activities

Technology & Productivity

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to improve prospect research, communication quality, and daily productivity

  • Use technology to streamline workflows and improve sales effectiveness

  • Support the adoption of digital tools and best practices across sales support activities

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies that can enhance commercial performance

Your Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in Telesales, Sales Support, Customer Service, or a similar commercial role

  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospective customers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong email-writing skills with the ability to create professional, persuasive, and customer-focused business communications

  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in sales, customer engagement, and business growth

  • Strong research and prospecting abilities

  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities effectively

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented

  • Comfortable using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, research prospects, and enhance communication quality

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Language Requirements

  • English – Fluent (spoken and written)

  • Additional European languages are considered an advantage
