The Quotation Specialist is a high performing problem solver with demonstrated initiative who works with the sales team and internal stakeholders under the Commercial Contract Manager. The role provides highly technical quotes to our sales team daily for customer review, by reviewing the technical specifications called out by the customer and takes our internal product abilities and applies our technology to that engineering specification.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotes using quoting tools and templates
  • Maintain a knowledge of our internal engineering specifications to ensure products are capable of customers engineering specifications.
  • Assist in designing and maintaining quoting tools, templates, and documented processes
  • Process orders, initiates down payment invoicing.
  • Drafts and reviews sales documents including proposals or contracts.
  • Serves as a point of communication between the sales team and other organizational departments, such as production, product management, or support teams.
  • Maintain records in the CRM or related system.
  • May occasionally respond to basic customer inquiries
  • Learn complex technical and mechanical systems supporting multiple product lines
  • Use Excel proficiently for reports, analysis, and calculations daily
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have an eye for detail. You are curious and have a proactive approach with a high level of personal ownership and documentation standards.

  • Engineering degree is not required but preferred to clarify specifications when producing a quote.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in print industry preferred.
  • Basic understanding of costs, margins, and pricing analysis.
  • Able to work independently, manage time well, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree experience in office position/environment.
