Job Description

Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives.
Operates with some autonomy but are typically subject to standard sales practices and procedures. The role is subject to regular review of sales results. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. May be responsible for medium-sized sales territories.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead the NAM Sales QMI and deal pacing call each week.
  • Lead the integrated OpPlan efforts and updated current estimate for both HDGT and Aero.
  • SFDC data accuracy tracking
  • Lead the bi-weekly sales meeting and set the agenda based on team inputs
  • Lead strategic initiatives either focused on NU sales only or integrated into the services strategy team.
  • Assist the deal team in connecting across the functions for support on deal risk management
  • Coordinate with LOB to schedule R meetings with appropriate lead time and staffing considerations
  • Provide Sales input and representation on standing monthly SFDC committee meetings, LOB and ITR meetings
  • Coordinate with business line operational representatives to organize SLT reviews
  • Coordinate with business line demand management team and GSC representatives to organize manufacturing plan and inventory reviews
  • Develop long term strategic plans by market and region to support Account Manager accounts planning and growth
  • Develop and manage a rhythm with the Services sales organization to better align NU proposals with CSA proposals – timing, content, strategy, evaluation, etc
  • Develop AI tools and processes to create leaner process and train the team on best practices to gain market insights, BI, and daily work optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience in power generation across one or more of the following areas: sales, commercial operations, finance, marketing, services, engineering, sourcing, or operations.
  • Minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in power generation across one or more of the following areas: sales, commercial operations, finance, marketing, services, engineering, sourcing, or operations.

Desired Characteristics

  • Sales force effectiveness, productivity analysis, allocation of resources and territory coverage, sales incentives, Salesforce CRM platform and tools, lead for commercial planning and forecasting, Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes, ITO lead for business reviews. Cleans and maintains data in Commercial and other core systems (CRMs, SFDC, ERPs, etc.).
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups. Uses prior experience and acquired commercial expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • Demonstrates a curious mindset to learn and master AI and educate others.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Most decisions are within a defined framework, but some autonomy in the final decisions for a project, product line, market, sales process or customers. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

#LI-Remote - This is a remote positionFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128,400.00 and $213,900.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
