Motor Truck Distributors (MTD), part of the Sime Motors Group, is the exclusive distributor of Volvo Trucks and Mack Trucks in New Zealand. With a proud history of supporting the transport industry, we're committed to delivering world-class products, service, and customer experiences.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Sales Support Administrator to join our Palmerston North team. This is a varied and rewarding role that provides critical support to our Sales, Technical, and Operations teams while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers.

About the Role

As our Sales Support Administrator, you'll be the central point of coordination for a range of sales and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Sales team with vehicle administration and customer delivery processes.
• Coordinating truck registrations, documentation, and handover requirements.
• Managing vehicle shipping and delivery logistics, including liaising with suppliers, transport providers, customs agents, and internal stakeholders.
• Processing invoicing and supporting monthly reporting activities.
• Administering Volvo Connect services, including customer onboarding and account maintenance.
• Coordinating domestic and international travel bookings across the business.
• Supporting company events, management meetings, and wider business initiatives.
• Assisting Used Trucks NZ and other departments with administration and invoicing requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a high standard of data integrity across business systems.

About You

• Enjoys being organised, solving problems, and supporting a team to achieve great outcomes.
• Previous administration, sales support, customer service, or coordination experience.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach and the willingness to support others.
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience within the automotive, transport, or heavy vehicle industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
