What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Commercial & Sales Support Manager, you’ll provide sales and admin support to our Ballarat branch while delivering top-notch service to agricultural clients. It’s a great opportunity to build your skills and career. Key responsibilities will also include:

  • Acting as the main reception person for the branch, managing a range of administrative tasks such as processing sales, debtors, accounts receivable and payable, supporting clearing sales, stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching goods
  • Manage the Livestock Administration with processing of all cattle and sheep sales into system
  • Maintaining and adhering to safety processes
  • Actively identify and pursue process and procedure improvement to perform duties in an effective and timely manner
  • Collecting and processing all livestock and wool reports relaying information onto relevant staff

What You'll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring experience in a sales & administration support position within a fast-paced environment, along with a genuine passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in sales and sales administration in a fast-paced enviroment
  • Excellent computer skills including SAP, Outlook, Word & Excel, or the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Sound knowledge of livestock operations or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
