Sales Strategist

Full-time | Japanese English Bilingual | Torrance, CA

The company is seeking a Sales Strategist to join its U.S. branch during an exciting growth phase. The company is a Japan-based technology company that provides digital learning solutions for children and is expanding its education business into the U.S. market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking initiative, building new business opportunities from the ground up, and making a direct impact in a growing organization!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and identify target customer segments and business opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to establish the company's presence in the U.S. market.
• Present the company's educational solutions and manage the sales process from initial outreach through follow-up.
• Build and optimize sales channels, including leveraging external sales representatives, distributors, or strategic partners when appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal teams in Japan to share market insights and recommend product or business improvements.

Qualifications

• A positive team player with great interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both Japanese and English (business level)
• Basic PC skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience in business development, marketing, sales, or related roles is a plus!
• Experience working in Japanese companies is a plus!
• Understanding of, or affinity with, the IT and/or EdTech industry is a plus!
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Hours:
Weekdays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation:
$70,000-$90,000 / annual salary (based on experience)
