Job Description

The Role

Tesla’s mission is to build a world of amazing abundance. As Store Leader for Changwon, you will own the people, performance, and daily operations of the store — and build a team that helps more customers become Tesla owners.

This is a people-leadership role. You will recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team; set a high bar for customer experience; and use data to run the business. We are looking for operators who have led teams, developed people, and delivered results.

You will be measured by your ability to hit targets, raise the performance of the team around you, and keep the store running to Tesla standards. Individual contribution matters — but the leaders who succeed here are the ones who make others better.

Responsibilities

Business Health

  • Own store performance against sales, delivery, productivity, and P&L targets
  • Coach the team to educate customers on Tesla products and the EV ownership experience
  • Lead from the floor: role-play, observe customer interactions, and set the standard in every customer-facing moment
  • Train the team on Tesla sales and delivery processes until they can run them independently
  • Set individual goals that ladder to store goals, and review performance with data
  • Partner with Marketing to identify local events and opportunities that increase Tesla’s presence in the Changwon market
  • Align with the Delivery Advisor on government EV subsidy status, weekly utilization, and delivery/sales planning
  • Flag subsidy, forecast, and operational risks early and put a plan in place before they hit the business

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every employee delivers a Tesla-standard experience in every interaction
  • Handle escalations quickly, with clear ownership and follow-through
  • Coach the team to resolve difficult customer issues in the customer’s best interest, without compromising Tesla’s mission or standards

People Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop employees so the store is fully staffed with people who can perform
  • Give frequent, constructive feedback. Evaluate performance continuously and act on it
  • Identify high potential talent and succession plan for the needs of the business
  • Hold the team to Tesla policies, safety standards, and ways of working
  • Resolve people and safety issues promptly, in partnership with HR and the relevant teams

Brand and Operations

  • Keep facility condition and showroom presentation at brand standard
  • Control store expenses and look for ways to run leaner without lowering the customer or team experience
  • Ensure the team meets Tesla’s Dress Code and Grooming Guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of people-management experience, with a proven record of hiring, coaching, and delivering team results
  • Experience leading teams in retail, hospitality, operations, tech, or other customer-facing environments
  • Self-starter with strong coaching skills and the judgment to prioritize what moves the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High integrity in how you lead people and run the commercial operation
  • Ability to build trust and work as a partner across functions
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment
  • Valid driver’s license in the country of application, with at least 2 years of driving history and a clean record
  • Ability to obtain any required licensing, where applicable
