Sales Specialist - Heathrow Airport

Our team is looking for a Sales Specialist in our Harrods store at Heathrow to create an unforgettable experience for visitors from all over the world.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for providing world class customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the Harrods brand.

You will be responsible for keyholding duties, ensuring the security and smooth opening and closing of the store, while also overseeing team operations. Additionally, you will take charge of preparing tills and cashing up at the end of shifts, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation. Strong leadership skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Please note, due to the location of this role, all successful applicants will need to provide satisfactory references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check to obtain an airside pass.

Due to the current demand on the Airport ID unit, new airside pass applications are currently taking approximately 5 months from point of application. Further details regarding timeframes will be provided at interview stage.

About You

• Previous experience within retail or customer service, in a team leader role with keyholding responsibilities.
• The communication skills to make a quick, long-lasting impact in a highly skilled team.
• A genuine interest and passion for Harrods.
• Self-motivation to learn and develop your product and industry knowledge.
• An out of the box thinking mentality, to surprise and delight customers with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A strong ability to work within a team.
• Great organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly.
• Ability to work morning and evening shifts as well as weekends.
