About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Specialist – Direct Salesto join our Welshpool team.

As our direct‑sales function continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated professional who
excels in building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional
service. In this role, you will support both internal and external sales
activities across our specialist rental products, services, and associated
projects. A solid understanding of water and water‑management solutions will be
essential. If you are driven, organised, and ready to advance your sales

month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong professional
    relationships with key customer decision‑makers, aiming to secure long‑term
    supply agreements.
  • ·Provide prompt, courteous, and solutions‑focused
    service to internal and external customers, upholding NPE’s professional
    reputation.
  • ·Develop and execute strategies that position NPE as
    the preferred partner for targeted clients and market segments.
  • ·Establish effective processes to gather and analyse
    market intelligence, including customer trends and competitor activity.
  • Drive proactive engagement with clients to ensure NPE remains their first point of contact
    • Manage timelines and coordinate effectively to meet
      installation and delivery deadlines.
    • Foster productive working relationships with
      colleagues, managers, and internal stakeholders across the business.
    • Prepare quotes, process purchase orders, and
      support financial documentation to ensure accurate tracking of quotations and
      sales. ·Actively promote NPE’s products and services to
      expand the customer base and grow internal sales revenue.
    • Review requisition orders to ensure terminology,
      specifications, and details are correct.
    • Prepare and distribute purchase orders to suppliers
      and relevant departments as required.
    • Work collaboratively with stores personnel to
      maintain optimal inventory levels, considering the full sales lifecycle,
      invoicing, and payment tracking.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and
      consistently represent the NPE brand with professionalism.

    Key Competencies:

    Essential

    • ·Proven experience in sales procurement, account
      management, or business development, ideally within rental, heavy industry, or
      resources environments.
    • ·Strong understanding of pumps, generators,
      compressors, or comparable technical equipment, with the ability to transfer
      relevant product knowledge.
    • ·Advanced negotiation and influencing abilities,
      demonstrated through previous roles.
    • ·Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal
      communication skills.
    • ·Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft
      Word, Excel, and Outlook, paired with solid financial and commercial acumen.
    • ·High attention to detail and the ability to work
      independently with minimal supervision.
