We are seeking a results-driven Sales Specialist – Construction to accelerate the adoption of our Construction solutions across strategic regional accounts in India. This role will partner closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, Technical Sales, and Partner teams to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and drive revenue growth throughout the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry, experience selling enterprise software or technology solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform project delivery through digital innovation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Own the construction solution sales strategy for a portfolio of regional accounts across India
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
Partner with Account Executives to create account plans, uncover business challenges, and position construction solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
Engage executive stakeholders, project teams, and technical decision-makers to understand customer priorities and digital transformation initiatives
Lead solution-focused sales engagements, including discovery sessions, business value discussions, product positioning, and executive presentations
Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Technical Specialists to deliver compelling demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements
Develop and execute territory and opportunity plans to consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner collaboration, and customer engagement
Work closely with channel partners and ecosystem stakeholders to expand market reach and accelerate customer success
Maintain accurate opportunity forecasts and sales activities within CRM systems
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs within the Indian construction sector
Represent the company at customer events, industry conferences, and regional seminars
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's/master's degree in business/engineering/architecture/ Construction Management, or a related field
8–10 years of experience in enterprise software or technology sales, preferably within the AECO or Construction industry
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
Understanding of construction workflows, project delivery, BIM, collaboration platforms, or digital construction technologies will be added advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with customers at all organizational levels
Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel within India as required
Experience selling Construction Cloud, BIM, project management, collaboration, ERP integration, or related enterprise solutions
Knowledge of infrastructure, commercial building, industrial, or government construction markets in India
Familiarity with value-based selling methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Solution Selling
Experience working with channel partners and system integrators
MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
