
Sales Specialist ACI DACH-South (all genders)
In this role you can play a key part in advancing the exciting field of Acute Care Informatics (patient data management systems, medical device integration) in the German-speaking region and successfully establishing acute care products on the market.
Your role
Support Account Managers in southern Germany in the sales process by providing comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge for medical devices, software, solutions and services.
Create tailored product configurations, service models and pricing proposals, including upgrades for installed systems.
Prepare and support tender/bid processes.
Manage the installed base in southern Germany, including preparing proposals, selling products, updates and upgrades to existing customers in close cooperation with the Account Managers.
Present and negotiate proposals persuasively, emphasizing the benefits and application possibilities of our solutions for customers.
Conduct product presentations/demonstrations for physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers at events and customer visits as well as for internal stakeholders.
Develop sales strategies, perform needs analyses and implement sales targets in the assigned districts/responsibility areas.
Draft local sales concepts to position our products within the team and implement them.
Monitor competitors and industry-specific changes; provide feedback to Marketing and Sales to expand the product offering.
Work closely with Customer Service and drive improvements using Lean Management.
Maintain accurate lead management in Salesforce.com to enable precise monthly business forecasts and, if necessary, support master data maintenance as Opportunity Owner.
You will be part of the European Acute Care Informatics team that markets our acute care solutions, such as our patient data management system (PDMS) IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia (ICCA) or Philips Capsule Medical Device Integration. Our intelligent software solutions help reduce staff burden, improve workflows and ensure high quality of care.
You should bring the following:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management or equivalent.
Clinical experience with advanced training, ideally in a technical, business or medical field, preferrable in ICU or OR.
Experience in sales or implementation of medical systems and healthcare solutions/consulting.
Good knowledge of healthcare processes and ideally a solid understanding of reimbursement structures in Germany.
Convincing and reliable manner with a strong affinity for sales and IT.
Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities.
High initiative, reliability and determination.
Ability to independently identify and solve problems and escalate to relevant parties when necessary.
High willingness to travel and motivation to work independently and organize efficiently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com and confident handling of new IT and communication tools.
Fluent written and spoken German and English.
