This position reports to:

Sales, Service and Project Execution Regional Leader - Critical Power - Latin America

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Critical Power products, systems, and services across segments such as Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Buildings, Transportation, and Pulp & Paper, in line with the division’s strategy.

Each day, you will work toward achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Critical Power in Argentina.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, ideally in a Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role, with a strong customer-facing focus.
  • You have a strong technical background or university degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • You have proven experience in the Critical Power industry, with strong knowledge of solutions such as UPS systems, Static Transfer Switches (STS), power converters, and voltage conditioners.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of working directly with end customers, providing tailored solutions to industrial environments. Experience across industries such as Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Buildings, Infrastructure, Transportation, Pulp & Paper, Banking, Telecommunications, and Data Centers is highly valued.
  • You have experience working with critical control systems and applications and understand the specific requirements of these environments.
  • You are willing and able to travel frequently, including approximately 60% travel within Argentina and to Uruguay and Paraguay.
  • You are at ease communicating in English at an advanced level, with the ability to confidently communicate and hold professional conversations with customers and internal stakeholders.
