Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will deliver both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your sales skills by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Karnataka Main stakeholders are Panel builders, Channel partners/Distributors, EPC's/Contractors and End customers

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Customer Communication & Sales Support Manage customer communications on delivery schedules, payment terms, commercial conditions, and order status while ensuring compliance with company policies and sales strategies.

  • Business Development & Market Expansion Identify and develop new market opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and help grow the business within the assigned territory.

  • Marketing & Customer Engagement Carry out marketing initiatives and clearly convey the value of products and solutions to boost customer engagement and expand market reach.

  • Sales Operations & Project Coordination Manage sales administration, support cash collection activities, coordinate project execution, and ensure seamless order processing and commercial

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 5–8 years of demonstrated sales experience in electrical switchgear, panel builder business, and power distribution solutions.

  • Solid experience in growing sales for ELSP & ELSB products through the Panel Builder Channel by developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet business targets.

  • Skilled at building and managing relationships with Panel Builders, System Integrators, Channel Partners, and key customers to increase market reach and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear, LV Panels, and Power Distribution Solutions, with a sound understanding of customer applications and industry requirements; knowledge of IEC 61439 standards.

  • Proficiency in SAP, CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and other sales management tools for pipeline management, sales forecasting, customer relationship management, and business reporting.

  • Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to coordinate with Technical Promotion, Product Marketing, and cross-functional teams to increase customer engagement and guide product specifications.

  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and South Indian regional languages, coupled with the ability to thrive in a busy, target-driven, and customer-focused sales environment.
