The Sales Specialist 3 is responsible for independently managing and orchestrating the lifecycle of assigned moderately complex net new/strategic sales opportunities. This role works and is focused in Ottawa, CA and preference will be focused on local candidates within region.
This role works independently with minimal instruction, demonstrating good judgment to resolve moderately complex issues. The Sales Specialist 3 contributes significantly to account growth by positioning business value and consistently exceeding net new subscription revenue targets. This role requires proactive collaboration and mentorship of junior colleagues.

What you will do:
Independently manage and orchestrate the lifecycle of assigned moderately complex net new/strategic sales opportunities.
Define and articulate complex subscription, services, and training SKUs and quantities, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Lead and manage collaborations with Account Executives (AE), Account Solution Architects (ASA), and relevant partner ecosystem resources.
Develop and implement strategies to capture business value (Customer ROI) for assigned opportunities.
Independently lead customer presentations and sessions on business problems, Red Hat solutions, business value, competitive positioning, and product capabilities and roadmaps.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of products within their domain and solid knowledge of the Red Hat portfolio.
Proactively advise on and contribute to sales forecasts for assigned opportunities, identifying potential areas for improvement.
