Our client is a premier national player in industrial lifting infrastructure and heavy mechanical equipment services. Catering to the high-density manufacturing, logistics, and semiconductor fabrication hubs of the Northern region, they are deploying a Senior Sales Engineer to command their aftermarket and service contract portfolios in Penang.


Requirements


Role Summary


Operating with complete regional autonomy, this role is

90% focused on sales generation and client conversion

, backed by a 10% administrative allocation for internal engineering dispatching

.

You will lead corporate pitches to lock down long-term preventive maintenance service SLAs, spare part supply pipelines, and breakdown/repair packages for major industrial players

.


Key Responsibilities


  • Industrial Client Acquisition:

    Map out and visit manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and industrial zones across Penang to promote multi-brand lifting and heavy machinery service offerings

    .


  • Contract Negotiation:

    Formulate precise engineering service quotations, handle complex commercial contract terms, and resolve customer objections to secure long-term agreements

    .


  • Technician Synergy:

    Work hand-in-hand with the field technician team to schedule, allocate, and monitor preventive maintenance and breakdown repair jobs

    .


  • Technical & Warranty Governance:

    Act as the first point of contact for client escalations, overseeing warranty claims and technical resolution loops with the operations support desk

    .


  • Market Intelligence:

    Participate in regional industrial trade shows, identify new engineering applications, and update the CRM system with pipeline data and forecasts

    .


Job Requirements


  • Minimum

    Diploma in Engineering

    (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or equivalent field)

    .


  • Minimum

    5 years of working experience

    in an engineering environment, with a strong emphasis on technical sales or aftermarket service sales

    .


  • Proven capability to engage confidently with multi-tiered stakeholders, from maintenance technicians up to plant procurement directors

    .


  • Self-disciplined and highly driven to succeed under a 100% remote working infrastructure
