The role leads structured sales campaigns and translates strategic growth priorities into actionable commercial initiatives that increase market share and topline performance, while ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service delivery through standardized processes, strong technical capability, effective resource planning, and KPI-driven performance management.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management
• Lead and develop the LATAM Sales & Service team, providing both disciplinary and functional leadership
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement
• Drive workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning across the region
• Conduct performance reviews and support the growth and development of direct reports
Sales Management
• Own and drive sales growth and market expansion across LATAM, with full accountability for achieving defined revenue and profitability targets
• Serve as the primary commercial lead for the region, personally managing customer relationships, originating opportunities, and closing business across the full portfolio of Molding Solutions products and services
• Lead all commercial negotiations in alignment with company guidelines to secure sustainable, profitable business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute new business proposals and program launches
• Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and order intake to ensure transparency and alignment
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies, marketing plans, and targeted action plans to identify and capture growth opportunities
• Build and scale the regional sales organization over time, establishing the structure, processes, and capabilities required to support sustained growth
Service Management
• Oversee Field Service operations to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Implement and maintain standardized service processes, including tracking and performance monitoring of service activities
• Define and manage key performance indicators (e.g., utilization, response time, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency)
• Support global initiatives by aligning regional service operations with company-wide processes, systems, and training standards
Qualifications & Experience:
• Technical background in injection molding, plastics processing, toolmaking, or a comparable field
• Minimum +10 years of relevant industry experience; advanced technical or engineering qualification preferred
• Proven leadership experience managing teams
• Strong understanding of injection mold trials, hot runner systems, and tooling services
• Business and systems proficiency (MS Office required, EPICOR and CAD preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a global, matrix organization
• Strong communication, feedback, and conflict-resolution skills
• Willingness to travel approximately +50%
• Open-minded, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to continuous improvement and global collaboration
