Job Description


I. Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Temporary Roll-off Sales Representative conducts sales processes associated with closing new customer sales for Temporary Roll-off and Bagster services. This sales representative will achieve budgeted closing and productivity goals by performing customer touchpoints through a dedicated queue and by receiving inbound calls and performing some outbound calls supporting the customer base.

This position is remote in the U.S. however the employee will be required to work Pacific Time hours based on business need

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Through needs-based selling, presents WM products and services benefitting the customer.
  • Offer, quote and close prospective customer sales using knowledge of WM products and services.
  • Influences customers to buy product by following a prepared sales talk to give service and product information and price quotations.
  • Influences customers to use WM as the preferred hauler for collection.
  • Ensures timely closure of sale by promptly and accurately recording names, addresses, and purchases within the WM system.
  • Proposes customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintains operations for this specialized service by following WM policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Supports additional service lines as required. Handles multiple Area Customer Service inquires and transactions proficiently.
  • Effectively uses WM sales productivity software tools (i.e Employee Console, Knowledge, Salesforce, WAVE. Bagster.com, etc.)
  • Adheres to service and operational standards established for the contact center, including quality, productivity, and Service Machine.
  • Flexible scheduling and willingness to perform other tasks as required by delivery channel.
  • Other duties as assigned.


III. Qualifications - Must live and work in the U.S.

A. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)


B. Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant B2B experience in Sales (in addition to education requirement)

Pay: The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $20.24/hour - $23.56/hour. This
range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate
may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training,
certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
