Job Description

Safety-Kleen is seeking a Sales Representative - Bulk Products and Services for Montreal (East of Montreal, Laval, the North Shore, and Lanaudière ) The Sales Representative - Bulk Products and Services will maintain strong business relationships with accounts in the region, while selling additional products and services to new and existing customers. They will answer customer questions about products, services, and billing. The position also requires the representative to perform various administrative and field tasks, including account creation, product services, and waste profile generation.

Territory: West of Montreal, North Shore, Lanaudière.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned geographic territory by developing and maintaining business relationships.
  • Sell all applicable BPS product lines while leveraging appropriate pricing components to ensure profitable operations.
  • Meet with customers to ensure they are aware of product offerings.
  • Manage existing accounts and generate new growth.
  • Work with staff at the local Safety-Kleen environmental services branch.
  • Attend and actively participate in sales meetings (local and district), maintain productive relationships with corporate, national, and branch account colleagues.
  • Regularly visit or contact each customer based on their size, service frequency, or market dynamics.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the lubricants, industrial services, automotive, or environmental markets.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Potential for out-of-town training during the onboarding process or during other market/strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to travel overnight as required.
  • Excellent computer skills (Salesforce & MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to facilitate a team service approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead decision-making.
  • Ability to travel within the region.
