The MOD Sales Representative identifies opportunities through key customer relationships and industry insights to drive the sale of company products. This role is responsible for preparing and presenting proposals to prospective customers, managing existing accounts, and driving overall business growth.
Meet and exceed assigned sales and customer objectives
Negotiate contract terms that are favorable to the company
Analyze customer needs and secure business through effective application of company products and services
Build and maintain strong client relationships, including addressing and resolving customer concerns
Prepare estimates and proposals for the sale of company products
Maintain accurate customer information and documentation in accordance with established procedures
Partner with owners and building management to secure maintenance agreements, renewals, and system upgrades to meet code requirements or incorporate new technologies
Source, analyze, and apply competitive market data to strengthen positioning and drive results
Communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams to ensure alignment, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales objectives
Retain and grow the customer base while supporting accounts receivable management for assigned accounts
Develop negotiation strategies with minimal oversight from management
Plan and execute sales strategies aligned with internal product strategies, customer needs, and competitive market conditions
Understand and align with the financial goals and expectations of the company
Participate in professional development programs to deepen knowledge of company products, services, and processes
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or minimum of 3 years of industry sales experience.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite software, Lotus Notes, SAP preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Must have good conflict resolution skills
