We are seeking a confident and driven
Sales Representative – Lead Generation

to generate new business opportunities specifically for one of our businesses.
This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and converting customers across
construction, demolition, renovation, landscaping, and commercial projects.


You will play a critical role in building a strong and sustainable sales
pipeline by proactively targeting builders, trades, project managers, and
commercial customers with recurring or project‑based waste needs. The role
covers the full front end of the sales process — from research and cold
outreach through booking jobs, closing opportunities, and ensuring a smooth
handover to operations.


The successful candidate will be comfortable making high‑volume outbound
calls, speaking confidently with site‑based and office‑based decision‑makers,
and using our Wastedge CRM system to research prospects, track activity, and
manage follow‑ups that convert leads into active customers.

What
We’re Looking For:


Skills & Competencies


  • Strong verbal communication and practical,
    confident sales approach.

  • Ability to engage directly with builders,
    tradespeople, and site supervisors.

  • Well‑organised, disciplined, and persistent
    in follow‑ups.

  • Strong CRM capability — Wastedge experience
    highly desirable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel,
    Word, Outlook).

  • Resilient, target‑driven mindset with the
    ability to manage objections and competitive pricing conversations.


Experience &
Qualifications


  • Experience in lead generation, tele sales,
    or inside sales (B2B or trade‑focused preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed KPIs
    in a sales or call‑driven environment.

  • Experience selling into construction,
    trades, logistics, waste, or project‑based services is a strong advantage.

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced,
    operationally focused environment.


What
You’ll Be Working On:


Prospect Research &
Outreach


  • Use Wastedge CRM to identify and map target
    prospects within construction, trade, and commercial segments.

  • Proactively cold call builders,
    subcontractors, facilities managers, and project sites to introduce our
    skip bin hire services.

  • Identify upcoming projects, tender
    opportunities, and recurring bin requirements.


Lead Qualification


  • Ask targeted questions to understand
    project scope, bin sizes required, durations, access constraints, and
    volume potential.

  • Qualify opportunities based on frequency,
    margin, and likelihood to convert to repeat business.

  • Clearly articulate our value proposition
    around reliability, service consistency, pricing structure, and
    compliance.


Follow‑Up & Nurturing


  • Log all conversations, notes, and next
    steps in Wastedge CRM.

  • Maintain disciplined follow‑ups with active
    prospects, dormant accounts, and scheduled projects.

  • Build long‑term relationships with
    customers who regularly require skips across multiple jobs.


Closing & Booking
Support


  • Convert qualified leads into live skip
    bookings.

  • Assist with quoting, bin sizing
    recommendations, service schedules, and pricing discussions.

  • Handle common objections relating to price,
    competition, and service reliability.


Customer Onboarding


  • Ensure smooth handover of new customers to
    operations and driver teams.

  • Set clear customer expectations around
    delivery, collection, compliance, and billing.

  • Identify opportunities for repeat jobs,
    multi‑site work, upselling larger bins, and referrals.


Pipeline & Activity
Management


  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM
    records to provide visibility of pipeline, activity levels, and conversion
    rates.

  • Track daily call volumes, contact rates,
    bookings secured, and revenue contribution.

  • Support reporting on pipeline health and
    forward workload.
