Job Description

The Sales Representative, Inside Sales Portables is responsible for taking incoming & making outgoing sales inquiries for temporary services offered by LRS. Temporary services include portable restrooms, hygiene solutions, and luxury trailer solutions. This role is responsible for assessing potential customer’s needs, providing service proposals, negotiating service agreements, researching upcoming projects and utilizing Salesforce to maximize sales efforts. This position will also work with Construction Account Managers to provide sales support.

Reports To

Sales Leader

  • Grow and manage the portable restroom line of business which includes Special Events, temporary restroom services, luxury trailers and construction customers.
  • Manage an existing Special Event book of business to assure continued service revenue along with allowing a seamless transition to the operations team for servicing.
  • Take incoming sales calls to determine customer needs, provide proposals and close sales.
  • Manage incoming internet leads through Salesforce and follow-up with prospective customers to close sales.
  • Prospect proactively for small to medium sized contractors or portable rental customers through various channels, including cold calling, email marketing and networking.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM daily, scheduling and documenting all activities, expanding the potential customer list through relentless cold calling.
  • Schedule and document all sales activities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop proposals and conduct presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of LRS solutions.
  • Negotiate and close business, exceeding monthly revenue targets.
  • Manage assigned customer relationships, building trust and ensuring long-term success.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitor activity to anticipate customer needs.
  • Participate in scheduled phone blocks and cold calling activities.
  • Develop in-depth industry and company knowledge to identify and capitalize on profitable growth opportunities.
  • Regularly meet with Sales Leader to review activity, pipeline and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in direct sales in a customer-facing role.
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Experience prospecting, identifying, and addressing customer needs.
  • Good understanding of the commercial waste and recycling industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platform and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed and results oriented.
  • A passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility is a plus.
