This role drives sales growth within the cardiovascular portfolio by promoting Medtronic’s products, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals. You will identify new business opportunities, deliver product education, and execute market strategies that support sustainable growth. Additionally, you will gather market insights, share customer feedback with internal teams, and ensure accurate tracking of sales activities and forecasts.
This position involves regular travel across the assigned territory, with approximately 30% travel to support customers and attend national and regional events.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets

  • Develop, build, and strength long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals

  • Pursue leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services

  • Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services

  • Conduct market research including customers and competitors activities

  • Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed

  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing

  • Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecast

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Fluency in English

  • 7+ years of experience within the cardiovascular industry, with strong clinical and product knowledge

  • Proven track record of success with consistent achievement or overachievement of sales targets

  • Solid understanding of the Puerto Rico healthcare landscape, including key stakeholders, hospital systems, and market dynamics

  • Experience managing key cardiovascular accounts within the Metropolitan Area

  • Experience in account management, with a focus on building and nurturing customer relationships

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Preferred experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS), Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

  • Experience working with cardiac programs, cardiovascular service lines, or hospital-based service solutions

  • Adaptability and initiative in navigating evolving market conditions, competitive dynamics, and organizational priorities while maintaining strong execution

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
