As a 3M Sales Representative you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing key customer relationships for our Commercial Branding & Transportation business within the Graphic Markets portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, analytical capabilities, project leadership, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales generation and penetration of specific 3M products, including printable graphic films, coloured films, vehicle wrap films, over-laminates, surface finishes and glass finishes
Delivery/ ownership of a defined sales quota
Regular engagement with key divisional functions, including sales management, marketing and technical support.
Management of a defined geographic territory of customers/accounts
Lead sales projects and initiatives to drive revenue growth, achieve divisional sales targets, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures.
Conduct analytic activities to support the business team, including sales performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Establish priorities, timelines, and execution plans to support business objectives.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including active participation in contract / project negotiations.
Utilize CRM systems to share best practices and ensure accurate sales and customer data management.
Analyze territory sales results and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and coordination on decisions and initiatives impacting the area of responsibility.
Actively participate in corporate programs and initiatives, while adhering to professional, ethical, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5–10 years of professional sales experience, preferably selling B2B via Distribution/Channel partners
Graphic Market Industry experience
Graphic Product knowledge and/or sales experience
Experience of working in a corporate matrix environment
Performance-oriented with a strong drive for success
Strong understanding of sales processes and key account management.
Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent).
Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
5–10 years of sales or marketing experience within the Graphic Market Industry or related industries.
Experience managing distributor or channel-based sales models.
Experience managing key accounts
Financial acumen, including budget management and performance tracking.
Experience working in a matrix or multinational organization.
