Sales Representative – Corporate Clothing & Workwear

Location: Somerset West, Western Cape

Salary: R15,000 – R25,000 per month

Introduction

An established corporate clothing and workwear supplier based in Somerset West is looking to appoint two driven and results-oriented Sales Representatives to expand its customer base throughout Cape Town and the surrounding areas.

The business has a strong presence in the agricultural sector and is now focused on growing its corporate and commercial client portfolio.

We are looking for confident, proactive sales professionals who enjoy developing new business, building lasting customer relationships and closing deals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new corporate and commercial clients throughout Cape Town and surrounding areas.
• Proactively prospect, cold-call and generate new business opportunities.
• Develop relationships with businesses requiring corporate clothing, uniforms, workwear and related products.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations and sales consultations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer accounts.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Maintain accurate customer records and provide regular sales reports.
• Represent the business professionally and deliver excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• Proven experience in external sales, B2B sales or new business development.
• Previous experience in corporate clothing, uniforms, workwear, PPE or related industries will be advantageous.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to develop new business independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and commercially minded.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout Cape Town and surrounding areas.

Package and Remuneration

R15,000 – R25,000 per month, dependent on experience and suitability.

Additional commission and benefits, if applicable, will be discussed during the recruitment process.
