The Central Michigan Aggregates Sales Representative is responsible for generating new sales opportunities, lead conversion, customer acquisition to drive growth for our aggregate product lines. Carmeuse continues to expand our Michigan footprint, most recently with the acquisition of Crandell Brothers Trucking a complementary asset to our existing construction portfolio. Carmeuse will continue to grow our footprint in the region, both organically and inorganically, and this role will work with our existing team to continue to drive sales and growth within the region. Primarily covering the central MI market, this front line sales role will be responsible for growing both new and existing customers by curating the ideal product mix to maximize margin within the region. This role will be responsible for managing both project and fixed customers to identify the best opportunities to grow both limestone and sand & gravel. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, working closely with the broader sales, supply and operations teams to drive growth.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain and Operations collegues to build a plan to drive sales growth, establish goals, track, analyze & monitor results
Consistently prospect, qualify / disqualify to prioritize the highest potentials for new business
Prioritize the best opportunities based on the customer, sales cycle, budget, timeline & business fit
Develop pricing and quoting acumen to respond to customer’s needs using a complete market perspective
Over time, become a subject matter expert on Carmeuse’s products to help guide customers to the best solution based on their requirements
