We’re Hiring: Sales Representative for our Flygt Business!

Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Sales Representative for our Flygt business, where innovation meets impact in the water industry. Flygt is a lead manufacturer of submersible Pumps and offers a range of solutions to monitor, control, and optimize pump performance. From level sensors through pump station management. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys building meaningful client relationships, and is passionate about delivering high-value solutions.

You’ll lead strategic sales initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This position also plays a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing technical expertise to support continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the municipal, water/ wastewater and hospitality sectors.
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales tactics.
  • Sales KPIs: Achievement of targets in sales (USD), margin, orders, and forecast

Account Management

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through proactive engagement.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and technical support.
  • Distributor Management:
  • Upsell and cross-sell products and services to maximize value.
  • Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
  • Project and Tender Follow-up: The role requires continuity in medium- and long-term technical-commercial processes, especially in the municipal sector.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Product Knowledge & Marketing

  • Stay current with industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.
  • Educate clients on new products and solutions.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including trade shows, campaigns, and product feedback.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to share market insights.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • The role requires continuity in medium- and long-term technical-commercial processes, especially in the municipal sector
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Manage invoicing, payment processing, and expense tracking.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of sales experience (water, wastewater, pump, municipal sector and hospitality industries preferred).
  • Consultative/value-based selling.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical and pumping systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, motors).
  • Proficiency in equipment selection software (e.g., Solver).
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral).
  • Experience managing complex and long-cycle sales processes.
  • Strong communication, multilevel negotiation skills with the ability to interact and negotiate with purchasing, engineering, and executive management areas. and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overnight internationa travel up to 50% of the time primarily to Central America and the Caribbean, to support field visits conducted both in collaboration with distributors and directly with end customers.
  • ***Mexican candidates must possess a valid Mexican passport and US Tourist Visa.
