The Sales Representative is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the sales program in a designated territory. Key responsibilities include developing account strategies, actively engaging in the sales process, and collaborating with OEM sales staff. The focus is on positioning Masimo SET as the pulse oximetry standard, contributing to marketing efforts, and maintaining awareness of market trends. The Sales Representative communicates with senior managers, manages budgets, and participates in GPO sales efforts. Success in this role relies on in-depth product knowledge, effective demonstration skills, and the ability to forecast business for management decisions.

This position reports to the Sr Regional Manager and is part of the Sales Team located in Barcelona, Spain and working remotely to cover Catalonia and Balearic Islands region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for sales of Masimo’s products, solutions and technology including OEM devices in the assigned territory.
• Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital) to the use of Masimo products in a high-competitive market.
• Engage in selling of accounts, including qualification, demonstration and closure of competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse-oximetry and other noninvasive blood parameters’ monitoring systems.
• Partner with appropriate Distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts.
• Provide information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Min. 5 years of experience in selling disposable medical devices.
• Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value based solutions.
• Experience calling on physicians and hospital administrators (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers).
• Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and good level of English.
• Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – list specifics 60% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Three or more years of Medical Device Sales experience. Patient Monitoring systems highly advantageous.
• Demonstrating conceptual, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Must be PC literate, have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills.
