Pay Rate:

Compensation includes base salary plus variable compensation, including commissions.

Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in International Paper Packaging Solutions North America US Core, Bulk and Solid Fiber sales commission plan which has significant commission earning potential.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Professionally and effectively represent International Paper's Packaging Solutions North America (PSNA) business in the packaging marketplace through the development of new business opportunities and growth of existing customer accounts in the Ohio market.
• Deepen relationships and generate profitable sales through regular visits and engagement with prospective and existing customers.
• Profitably grow customer accounts by developing and successfully implementing Key Account Plans that align with each customer's business needs and buying preferences.
• Apply strong business and financial acumen to support profitable decision-making and growth.
• Assess customer packaging and business needs, then align International Paper value propositions and solutions to support customer success and profitable growth.
• Leverage market knowledge and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities that create value for customers and International Paper.
• Travel regularly to customer locations, meetings, and trade events while working in a variety of professional environments (approximately 50% or more of work time).

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

• BA/BS in a related field or related equivalent work experience in related field
• Sales experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results and drive profitable growth
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering value and service excellence
• Ability to learn and apply new products, processes, and business concepts
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience in the corrugated box industry (preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems, such as Salesforce (preferred)
