We are currently looking for a new person to take full responsibility for Latvian market development. Join us and help create a new standard in the construction industry!

About the role:

You will be responsible for selling the full range of ROCKWOOL products across all customer segments: contractors, architects, designers, installers, distributors, and DIY retailers. You'll spend approximately 60-65% of your time in Riga and surroundings, and 35-40% in the rest of the country. You will report to your manager based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Responsibilities:

• Selling the full range of ROCKWOOL products and responsibility for the full Latvian market development;
• Building and maintaining relationships with construction/contracting companies, architects, designers, installers as well as distribution partners, retail partners and DIY stores;
• Ensuring optimal visibility and availability of ROCKWOOL products in all sales points;
• Implementing sales plans while fostering long-term relationships – we value partnerships based on trust and flexibility towards our business partners;
• Actively acquiring new contractors in the Riga area (60-65% working time) and the rest of the country (35-40% working time) and building lasting cooperation with them;
• Preparing commercial offers that meet customer needs including payment terms and delivery logistics;
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to maintain an advantage in sales negotiations;
• Managing sales forecasting and planning to support market development objectives;
• Ensuring profitability through strategic pricing and margin optimization;
• Delivering technical guidance on product application, providing technical advisory support to clients, and conducting training workshops and demonstrations;
• Handling customer claims including quality issues;
• Representing the company during fairs and industry events;

Key requirements:

• Please submit your application in English;
• Higher education, ideally in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent technical background. We also welcome applications from candidates with proven sales experience in construction, even without formal, technical qualifications;
• 4+ years of sales experience in the construction sector, with a focus on cooperation with general constructors, architects, as well as distributors;
• Professional fluency in Latvian (native) and English is essential for this role (both mandatory). Russian will be advantage;
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word);
• Ease in establishing contacts and maintaining positive relationships;
• Ability to create and present commercial offers in a clear, attractive and customer-tailored manner;
• Active listening skills and understanding of customer needs;
• Independence in action and effective management of meeting schedules;
• Positive attitude towards field work and client visits in the assigned territory (the whole Latvia);
• Driving licence – this is mobile work.
