Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to recruit a dynamic and driven Sales Representative on behalf of our client. Our client is looking for a Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities, grow the customer base and build lasting relationships with local SMEs and businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently, developing a territory and driving sales growth. ​Identify and develop new business opportunities within Mossel Bay and the surrounding Garden Route. Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking, business visits and referrals. Conduct client visits, presentations and product demonstrations. Prepare quotations, negotiate with prospective clients and close new business. Grow the customer base and increase sales volumes. Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and SMEs. Develop a visible presence within the local business community. Encourage repeat business and maintain strong customer relationships. Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective customer onboarding and service delivery. Maintain accurate sales pipelines, customer records and activity reports. Achieve monthly new-business and sales-volume targets. Represent the company professionally and uphold its values. ​ Requirements 1–3 years’ experience in sales, business development or a customer-facing role is preferred. Strong knowledge of Mossel Bay and the surrounding areas. An established network within the local business community will be advantageous. Proven ability or strong potential to generate new business. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence engaging with business owners and decision-makers. Self-motivated, energetic and target-driven. Ability to work independently in a field-based environment. Computer literacy, including MS Office. Valid driver’s licence. Own a reliable vehicle. Ability and willingness to learn operational systems and processes.
