Job Description

About the Job

As a Sales Representative on our Custom Sales team, you will be responsible for designing and selling private and customized travel experiences in Iceland.

A key part of the role is understanding what the customer actually needs and using your knowledge of Iceland and our products to advise them on the best options.

This is a consultative sales role: we are looking for someone who can think beyond the enquiry, identify opportunities, solve problems and confidently guide the customer towards the right solution.

What you'll be doing

  • Handle daily customer communications (phone and written) for Custom Sales, including first response
  • Run cost-benefit and needs analysis for each customer to design the itinerary that fits them
  • Calculate accurate costs for each itinerary to build correct, competitive pricing
  • Coordinate closely with other departments and external partners to confirm and deliver itineraries
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements that make the sales team more efficient
  • Monitor the workplace one weekend per month, in case of unforeseen issues

What we're looking for

  • Interest in travel and enthusiasm for learning about Iceland
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or tourism is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with willingness to take ownership and make decisions rather than always waiting for instructions
  • Customer-focused, with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple enquiries and deadlines, independently and as part of a team
  • Curious and open-minded, with a problem-solving mindset

What we offer

  • First 3 months fully on-site to onboard properly, then hybrid: 3 days/week on-site
  • Additional sick days for when you're under the weather
  • International team with colleagues who have your back
  • Additional health insurance
  • Equipped office: fresh fruit, hot drinks, pool table, foosball
  • Team breakfast once a week
  • Real opportunities for personal and professional development
  • Company outings and in-office team events

Net Monthly Salary

1,200 – 1,300 EUR net monthly, depending on experience and expertise.
