In this role, you will lead the coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of Rental & Used (R&U) programs across the Americas. This role owns Differentiated Dealer Capabilities (DDC) execution, strengthens dealer performance, and serves as a trusted advisor to field teams and dealers to accelerate growth and operational discipline.

What You Will Do

  • Lead DDC for Rental & Used capabilities across the Americas (US, Canada, Latin America), ensuring consistent execution across field teams and dealers

  • Conduct reviews with field teams and/or dealers to identify risks and unlock growth opportunities

  • Develop & support rollout of new programs and strategic initiatives

  • Identify and scale dealer practices that improve sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and dealer capability to address customer pain points and drive consistent customer experience

  • Lead and support training initiatives that build dealer capabilities aligned to DDC priorities

  • Ensure training content is practical, scalable, and relevant to dealer needs

  • Reinforce consistent adoption of tools, processes, and commercial discipline

What You Will Have

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience in the rental or used equipment industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.

  • Proven ability to execute sales strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer engagement.

  • Background in construction equipment, dealership operations, or related heavy equipment environments.

  • Demonstrated success in strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver a positive customer experience.

Additional Information:

  • Position location is Peoria, IL, Cary, NC, or Irving, TX

  • Relocation assistance is available.

  • Visa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.

  • This position requires the candidate to work onsite when not traveling.

  • This position will require up to 25% travel.

Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
