Main Tasks
Develop business relationships with PC IAM customers in the region to promote the sale of automotive parts in the IAM channel.
Manage distributor/customer sales to achieve the planned budget, identify reduced performance and submit plans on how to achieve increased revenue to close the shortfall against budget.
Communicate business potential from PC IAM customers within sales structure to create competitive product offering. Provide quotations and feedback to customers and facilitate the acceptance of such quotations.
Provide competitor activity feedback and price benchmarks.
Communicate with customer order placement internally and provide feedback to customers on availability.
Communicate product introductions/changes to PC IAM network.
Liaise internally with colleagues to resolve all technical queries/concerns related to products.
Provide detailed forecasts of customer requirements, including cases where demand is foreseen to increase or decrease in future.
Salesforce to be updated with correct CRM customer data and all customer visits and smart reports to be recorded including all revenue opportunities.
Provide Sales Product Training with all customers to ensure that they understand the full company aftermarket product offer including FAB's and correct catalogue interpretations.
Support with all customers Trade Events
Minimum Requirements
Matric and/or relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Degree in Business Management, Engineering or similar Tertiary education
Minimum 5 years' experience of sales to AM customers in the PC IAM.
People & customer management experience with strong moderation skills
Effective communication, influencing & collaboration skills among various audiences
Knowledge of automotive products, footprint, structures and processes
Knowledge of Health and Safety aspects within the work environment.
Strong Negotiation skills.
High attention to detail, self-starter, and entrepreneurial spirit to grow the business.
