About the job:

Represent & drive Opella Consumer Healthcare brands, such as Telfast, Bisolvon, Ostelin, Cenovis & Nature's Own in pharmacies.

The Opella Sales Representative is responsible for achievement of sales budgets (targets), maximising product distribution, shelf positioning, merchandising, business development plans and account relationships for a designated territory.

Taking responsibility for all aspects of merchandising in designated accounts, ensuring client gains the full impact and benefit of promotional activity by placing POS, maintaining maximum visibility and product availability.

Maintain a high level of account & display standards linked to the commercial strategy direction and ensure all major key account activations are executed within the designated territory.

Main responsibilities:

• Sales to budget – Achieve sales budget and executional measures as nominated by the National/Sales Manager.
• Maximise product distribution, shelf positioning and merchandising as determined by the State/Field Manager & in accordance with marketing/promotional plans.
• Awareness of reporting on competitor and industry activity to enable the review of the impact on marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharmacy accounts which will give our company the high profile necessary to achieve long term success.
• During special promotions, ensure correct and current promotional material is on display and placed correctly, checking any special pricing is correct.
• Provide and maintain systems of work and working environments that are safe and without risks to health

About you:

• Experience:  Ideally you will come from an FMCH, CHC or Pharma background (however not essential). You will ideally have sales experience, will also consider customer service backgrounds.

• Skills:  You must be self-motivated, hardworking, articulate, confident and driven.

• Location - You must be able to commute daily to Melbourne's Norther Suburbs (avoiding long commutes).
