We’re on the hunt for a driven, energetic go-getter who’s as passionate about people as they are about great drinks. If you thrive on building relationships, love bringing creative ideas to life, and get excited about helping businesses craft unforgettable beverage experiences—from that first morning pour-over to an afternoon energy boost—this role is for you. You’re not just selling products; you’re elevating menus, inspiring partners, and turning every interaction into an opportunity to grow something exceptional.

Mahaska is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages people from all walks of life to apply today!

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to;

  • Full-Portfolio Sales: Drive revenue by selling a comprehensive beverage
    solution, including coffee, brewed teas, flavored syrups, and plant-based energy concentrates.
  • Menu Engineering: Help clients develop diverse beverage programs that balance traditional staples (house blends and iced teas) with high-margin trendsetters (Lotus energy drinks and Torani-infused specialties).
  • Product Education: Host cuppings, tastings, and "Barista 101" sessions to ensure clients are brewing and mixing products to their highest potential.
  • Account Expansion: Upsell existing accounts by introducing new products, ideas or blends to keep their menus fresh.

Territory Management: Prospect new business while maintaining high retention rates through consistent on-site support and inventory consultation.

What We’re Looking For

  • The Vibe: Someone who is coffee scene literate.

  • Service-Oriented: You understand the fast-paced nature of the service industry and provide excellent customer service.
  • Digital Fluency: You don’t just use social media; you understand Content as a Sales Tool.

Required Skills

  • Strong networking skills within the local hospitality and foodservice community.
  • Ability to lift and move product samples (e.g., coffee bags, syrup cases).
  • Excellent presentation skills—you’re as comfortable behind a cupping table as you are behind a spreadsheet.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily territory travel.
