Job Description

Minimum requirements:

  • Knowledge - Understanding of the sales process and dynamic while being coachable and curious to learn.
  • Confidence - maintaining a positive attitude with ambition and will to sell in a fast paced environment.
  • Accountability - the obligation/willingness to accept responsibility for one's actions.
  • Resilience - communicating with conviction, providing excellent service.
  • Active listening - understanding the customers' needs.
  • Rapport building strong interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - continual self- improvement.
  • Tech-Savvy competence in Microsoft and Hand Held devices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Generating/prospecting leads/new customers.
  • Maintaining/improving service levels with existing customers.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Managing customer credit limits/payment terms as well as payments/settlements.
  • Handling objections, minimising risks and providing solutions.
  • Maintaining customer information and feedback (pricing, promotions and competitor activity).
  • Following the daily Sales Route List and adhering to NDDs.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Providing reports when requested to.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
