Job Description

Sales Representative

Our owner-managed company is one of the globally leading companies in the shopfitting industry. Over 1'000 employees think retail and develop made-to-measure shopfitting solutions as well as serial production for rollout clients. To develop new solutions for our clients, to create inspiring shopping worlds and to build successful stores is the reason for our joy of doing.

What to expect?

The candidate will be based in Toronto and will be responsible for selling Schweitzer products and services, and promoting sales and new business, to existing and potential clients.

Duties include:

  • Promoting sales to existing clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services
  • Identify and soliciting potential clients through market research to develop new business relationships
  • Providing price quotes, contract terms, warranties, and estimating delivery dates
  • Negotiating terms and conditions to satisfy both client and company requirements
  • Preparing sales documentation in compliance with company policies
  • Providing ongoing support and after sales assistance to clients, to support client retention
  • Utilizing e-commerce solutions to reach and serve a broader client base
  • Reviewing market information and conditions to stay updated on industry trends

The position will require some travel to meet clients and attend industry events, and flexibility to work at times that may accommodate potential international clients of the Schweitzer group, as necessary.

What to bring with you?

  • Relevant sales experience with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Preference for candidates familiar with the shopfitting sector.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Must be capable of negotiating and effectively closing sales.
  • Requires strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and innovation in addressing challenges.
  • Should be an empathetic team player with a client-centered approach.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies is advantageous.
  • A post-secondary degree is desirable.
