Job Description

Due to continued expansion, an established engineering and manufacturing company in the agricultural sector is currently recruiting a Sales Representative to join its growing team.

The company designs and manufactures livestock handling and housing equipment, supplying customers across Ireland and international markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting the company’s products, developing strong customer relationships, and supporting continued growth within the agricultural sector.

The role will be based in Emly, Co. Tipperary, with regular travel to customer sites, farms, and agricultural businesses as required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell livestock handling and housing equipment to new and existing customers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agricultural contractors, and industry partners
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across the agricultural market
• Provide product information, quotations, and technical guidance to customers
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Attend agricultural shows, demonstrations, and industry events where required
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, leads, and customer interactions
• Support customers throughout the full sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion

Requirements

• Experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (experience in the agricultural sector is highly desirable)
• Strong interest or background in agriculture, farming equipment, or agricultural engineering
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Full clean driving licence
• Highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven
