Delval Technology Solutions is seeking a driven, independent sales professional to join our team as a Sales Representative focused on generating new Managed Services (MSP) business and monthly recurring revenue. This is a true “hunter” role designed for someone who thrives on building pipeline, developing new relationships, and closing net-new business.
This individual will play a critical role in expanding Delval’s managed services footprint by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities within the greater Philadelphia market. This role requires regular in-person meetings with prospective clients in the field.
Anticipated salary: $80,000.00 annual base salary with $120,000.00 in on-target earnings (OTE) potential.
· Drive new business development efforts focused specifically on MSP contracts and recurring revenue opportunities within the local market.
· Proactively source and cultivate new leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and in-person engagement, in addition to leveraging opportunities generated by the go-to-market team.
· Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach through needs assessment, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and close. Following successful deal closure, transition clients to the operations team for onboarding while maintaining focus on continued prospecting and pipeline growth.
· Engage with prospective customers face-to-face on a regular basis, developing trusted relationships and gaining a clear understanding of their technology needs and business objectives.
· Collaborate internally with engineering and go-to-market resources to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with service capabilities and client expectations.
· This is a field-based role, and success will require consistent presence in the local market engaging with prospects directly rather than operating primarily from the office.
The ideal candidate is a mature, self-sufficient sales professional capable of managing their own territory and sales activities with minimal oversight. Candidates should bring a strong track record of success in new business development and demonstrate comfort operating in a performance-driven environment.
Experience selling IT services or managed services is strongly preferred. Candidates who possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts, ensuring alignment between client expectations and service delivery, will be especially well-positioned for success in this role.
Strong interpersonal skills, consultative selling ability, and the discipline to consistently generate and advance new opportunities are essential.
Candidates must be located within the greater Philadelphia area and able to travel regularly to meet with prospective clients throughout the region. Approximately 90% of Delval’s customers are located within one hour of their Montgomeryville office.
Periodic in-office presence (approximately one day per week) at the Delval office in Montgomeryville, PA is expected for internal collaboration and team engagement.
