Sales Representative-Engineering Industry , Johannesburg

Seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to expand THE company's presence in the supply of tools, mobile hand-operated machines, consumables, and equipment. This role involves a strong focus on business development, targeting distributors, resellers, and end-users across industries such as machining, pipe fabrication, flange repair, industrial plumbing, and mobile on-site machining services.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate or equivalent; additional technical certifications are advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in external sales, of which 1-3 years specifically within the tools and equipment supply industry.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, with a proven ability to maintain accurate and regular updates.
• A comprehensive understanding of the tools and equipment offered and keeping abreast of new products, trends, and innovations. Particularly the SFE, REMS, Karnasch, Ensitech, Promotech and Broco brands.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in selling on-site services and will be familiar with the tools and equipment used.

They should possess a strong understanding of the industry and its key market players, including customers, suppliers, contractors, and consultants.

The successful candidate will be required to continuously expand their knowledge of the various product ranges, actively market, demo, and showcase the products to potential, new and existing customers.

The role demands a very customer-focused person, one who has an aptitude for technical specifications, an understanding of the application of these tools and a willingness to learn & follow trends and new developments in the industry. The successful candidate will have to constantly provide their customers with status updates on enquiries, sales orders and purchases.
