Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Representative to drive revenue growth across Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) supplies, with a strong focus on lighting and electrical products. Working closely with the Business Owner, you’ll manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach through to quoting, negotiation and closing. This role suits someone who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively source, contact and qualify new leads across MRO, electrical and lighting sectors
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process including outreach, quoting, follow-ups, negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with resellers and business customers
  • Present lighting and electrical product solutions based on customer needs
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, pipelines and sales activity
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to identify new opportunities
  • Provide regular pipeline and performance updates to the Business Owner
  • Work autonomously while consistently delivering results

What we’re looking for

  • 2–4 years’ experience in B2B and/or B2C sales (lighting, electrical, hardware or MRO industries highly regarded)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong outbound sales and prospecting capability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
  • Highly organised and confident managing your own sales pipeline
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales tracking
