Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed division’s average selling prices in the core product lines tomaintainprofitability levels.

• Identifyand communicateindustry trends,territory activities,competitive activity, and customer requirements to ensure that Chem-Trend can meet or exceed expectations within theindustrysegmentand other new marketsPreparetimelywritten and verbal reports.

• Maintain excellent working relationships with customers through regular contact with decision-makers, corporate management, and influential personnel at any levelMaintain Chem-Trend’s image of supporting the product after the sale through excellent customer service.

• Sell allassignedproduct lines to customers to securemarketplaceposition. Utilize purchase agreements and long-term contracts to preventcompetitors from sellinglow- marginproducts and placing profitable products at risk. Diffuse competitive threats at key accounts with a sense of urgency.

• Assistcustomers in their efforts to be cost-effective, using effectivevalue-addedselling techniques to outline the benefits of our products.

• Provide technical assistance to customersand troubleshoot product and process issues

• Conduct product trials for new product developments and provide feedback to the technical staff and the laboratory

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Marketing, Science, or related fieldor equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferablyin the chemical specialty field

• 5+ years of experience in value selling

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or competitive function
