Acts as a representative for Madico, responsible for sales and customer support for all dealers within a given sales region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ability to achieve sales goals, including goals surrounding customer retention, wallet share growth, new account acquisition, new product launches and overall sales growth.
  2. Visit current dealers to provide assistance in quality, service, or technically related issues and ensure that we are meeting customer needs.
  3. Ability to maintain current customer sales, increase customer wallet share and grow number of dealers in territory through new account acquisition.
  4. Visit potential distributors and dealers with a view to converting them to Madico products.
  5. Help to develop sales strategies and sales techniques aimed at meeting the company sales goals
  6. Write detailed sales reports weekly documenting any sales calls, visits and new distributors.
  7. Fully embrace the use of SalesForce CRM and utilize it to its fullest. Keeping all customer information and interactions up to date.
  8. Responsible for generating leads, closing new customers, and proving a high level of account management for new and existing customers.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be self-motivated with a successful track record and one who understands the importance of long-term customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Attend industry tradeshows.
  • Ability to achieve the company’s sales goals.
  • Proficient on the internet/web as well as Microsoft Office Applications (MS Word, Excel).
  • Follow and support all company policies, including working and driving in a safe and ethical manner.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS/EMS) RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate, or assist, in identifying how the work that you do that affects the quality or impacts the environmental aspects of the products or services we provide to customer(s).
  • Improve your work processes.
  • Write procedures or work instructions that describe your work.
  • Provide input and verify that documented procedures are adequate and accurate.
  • Understand and use your work/job instructions.
  • Understand our quality and environmental policies and how they apply to you.
  • Keep records and data.

  • Participate in external registration and surveillance audits.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Window Film.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer relation skills.
  • Ability to sell on value.
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional, reliable and extremely self-motivated.
  • Must have a passion for selling.
  • Ability to generate, develop and close business to business sales.
  • Strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations.
  • Ability to work from home in a professional capacity.
  • 4-year College degree and relative sales experience or a minimum of 10 years sales experience and supporting sales achievement details

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (Any travel, security, risk, hazard or related special condition.)

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Ability to operate various software including CRM.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The performance of this position represents a typical office environment but occasionally requires exposure to the manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel toe or composite toe shoes.
