KEMET, a YAGEO Group company is currently seeking a Sales Representative in the Orange County/San Diego area. This role will plan and carry sales efforts at key OEM customers through direct and distribution channels in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed assigned sales plans

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distribution partners

• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to design YAGEO products and obtain AVL/BOM approvals

• Train distribution partners on YAGEO products

• Inform management of market trends and risks impacting sales goals

• Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQ’s

• Maintain high service levels for current customers and maintain high service levels for current customers

• Develop new opportunities within existing customers and identify/develop targeted new customers

• Build cross functional teamwork between customer service, production and customers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or a minimum of 10 years of sales experience in passive components

• Minimum of five years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of growth

• Experience with solutions-based selling

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Knowledge of the electronic components industry

• Achievement-driven and competitive mindset

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively

Location & Work Type

• San Diego, CA or Orange County, CA – United States
• Full Time
• The expected base salary range for this position is between $95,000-$125,000, based on experience.
