Your main responsibilities

Customer Account Management (60%)

  • Build and manage strong client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely resolution with a focus on revenue generation.
  • Meet regularly with customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions aligned to their property requirements.
  • Manage accounts receivable for your assigned portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate payment collection.
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and achieve sales objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Superintendents and technicians to generate leads and deliver a seamless customer experience from initial contact through execution.

Sales & Opportunity Identification (30%)

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through key customer relationships and industry insights.
  • Assess and qualify customer needs to deliver profitable solutions utilizing Schindler products and services.
  • Introduce new technologies and service offerings, clearly articulating value to the customer.
  • Negotiate contract terms that align with company objectives while meeting customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with product goals and competitive market conditions, operating with a high level of autonomy.

Documentation & Compliance (10%)

  • Prepare estimates and present proposals to customers in a clear and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all activities comply with established policies, processes, and guidelines.

What you bring

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, 0-2 years of professional experience Experience with SAP and a results-driven mindset to thrive in a competitive sales environment preferred
Demonstrated Ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions preferred

Communication and Relationship Skills
Effective presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong communication, negotiation, objection handling and closing skills with a proven sales track record
Ability to empathize, listen and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships
Effective communication skills are required when communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and the achievement of sales objectives

Sales, Negotiation and Strategy
Customer Account Management: proficient in building and managing client relationships, ability to handle challenging inquiries, while ensuring satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generationNegotiation & Strategy: experienced in the ability to negotiate contract terms and develop sales strategies that align with the customers’ needs and Schindler values and are compliant with all regulations
Effectively, addresses and overcomes objections from clients in negotiations
Sales & Closing Skills: proficient in closing deals and securing agreements when finalizing contracts
Ability to independently identify and pursue sales opportunities, qualifying customers’ needs and introducing new services and technology

Organization and Mindset
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilitiesMotivated, resilient, and customer-focused mindset with a strong character aligned with Schindler’s values

Leadership and Collaboration
Leadership: ability to provide guidance and expert support to more junior sales account managers and representativesProven track of collaborating with Field Superintendents and technicians with quality improvement processes
