Join Valmet as a Sales Product Manager within our Services department in Lucca In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our global Customer Service sales activities and expanding our offering of products and services in the Tissue Converting Roll & Fold segment.

This position is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a technical‑commercial background who are eager to grow in a dynamic international environment and collaborate across multiple functions including Engineering, Marketing, Inside Sales, Purchasing, Project Management, and other Converting divisions.


Your Responsibilities:

As a Sales Product Manager, you will:

  • Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team to achieve sales and margin targets, including customer visits and market analysis.

  • Develop, promote, and manage the lifecycle of Services products, ensuring proper pricing, positioning, and profitability.

  • Support sales growth by providing new opportunities with existing customers and developing prospects in global markets.

  • Deliver technical–commercial training and create effective product presentations highlighting Valmet’s technical solutions.

  • Manage product master data, pricing, and updates across company systems (SAP, SharePoint, Services Portal, CRM) for full E2E handling from quotation to warranty.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Strategic Marketing, and Roll/Fold/Packaging/Rewinder divisions on new product development and supporting materials.

  • Conduct monthly sales performance and installed base analyses to guide and support the sales force.

Expectations for You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related technical‑commercial field.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Sales or Services within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of Bills of Materials, technical drawings, electrical schematics, and layout principles.

  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are considered a plus.

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, SAP, CRM, and SharePoint.

  • A customer‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills.

  • The ability to manage urgency, multitask effectively, and perform under pressure.

  • A proactive, ethical, and team‑oriented approach.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Within this organization, the Tissue Converting Services Product & Project team manages product development, technical‑commercial support, and end‑to‑end coordination of upgrade and service projects. The team handles key activities such as product structure definition, installed base and market analysis, pricing and lifecycle management, and cross‑functional project execution in collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, Inside Sales, and Warehouse Operations.
