Sales & Pricing Analyst Location: Norcross Working hours:

The sales & pricing analyst provides timely reports regarding sales within the service sales (aftermarket) segment of the business. They also work with the other various functions within the service sales team for the completion of budgeting documents, monthly sales reports, completion of annual pricing at the market level and with specific customer OEM’s. The individual is responsible for directly supporting the Director of Service Sales and Sales team in meeting the overall goals and targets of the organization. The ideal candidate must be customer service driven have strong analytical skills and utilization of Excel as a means to monitor sales activity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales analysis and related activities
  • Annual and periodic pricing development for various distribution channels
  • Support the development of sales budgets, forecasts and plans including maintenance and training on associated IT tools
  • Maintaining a list of customers assigned to DEUTZ Power Centers and identification of relevant customer criteria in alignment with SAP reporting tools.
  • Maintains extensive face to face contact with internal and - if required – external customers
  • Communicate both internally and externally at all levels the DEUTZ sales goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain sales analysis tools
  • Update and maintain market and competitive activity
  • Provide input for process improvement
  • Provide input and assist with development of annual budgets and periodic updates to the budget
  • Preparation of sales presentations and presentation materials
  • Maintenance and further improvement of pricing tools
  • Tracking and reporting on sales activities, projects and initiatives
  • Liaise with DEUTZ AG business intelligence team to resolve data request and exchange information
  • Develop databases for the identification of parts utilized by OEM’s within the North American market.
  • Track data related to special net pricing provided to various customers and maintain pricing with updated supersession data.
  • Assist with the development of sales and marketing programs through campaign development, sales analysis and competitive intelligence.
  • Provide input regarding stocking strategy based on aftermarket sales criteria and relevant parts sales data.
  • Assist with trouble shooting of account issues related to pricing and discounts specific to customer accounts.
  • Provide assistance with customer account set up.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Travel Requirements

Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ years of working experience
  • Bachelors/associate degree in engineering or business
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel experience and significant experience with Pivot tables and Vlookup. Preferred Requirements
  • Experienced in the off-highway market/customer requirements. Knowledge of engine or construction equipment market a plus.
  • SAP ERP System or other relevant ERP software user experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment.
  • Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.
  • If located in the office area, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
