About the Role

As a Sales Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role within our Distribution team, providing the reporting, analysis, and insights that drive sales performance and support strategic decision-making. Working closely with Sales Leadership, Business Development Managers (BDMs), Marketing, Finance, Credit, Operations and our Technology team, you will analyse sales and portfolio performance, identify growth opportunities, monitor broker and distribution channel activity and deliver actionable insights that help shape business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse sales, portfolio, and distribution data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and broker performance.
  • Support broker segmentation initiatives and growth strategies across distribution channels.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and performance analysis as required.
  • Support pricing reviews, campaign assessments, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Monitor key metrics and provide regular performance reporting to leadership.

Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Sales Leaders to provide meaningful performance insights.
  • Support broker accreditation processes and broker performance reviews.
  • Prepare presentations, sales packs, dashboards, and management reports.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests from stakeholders across the business.
  • Assist in communicating business performance and sales trends to a broad audience.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of CRM and sales reporting systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data quality.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, reporting tools, and process enhancements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the sales and distribution function.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across all business reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and business data.
  • Support audit, governance, and compliance reporting requirements as required.

Your Experience

  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience using Power BI to create dashboards and deliver business insights.
  • Experience with CRM and reporting systems.
  • Previous experience in an Analyst role, Sales Operations role or within lending, mortgage broking, or financial services is advantageous.
  • Understanding of mortgage products and broker distribution channels is desirable.
  • Exposure to SQL, Tableau, or similar analytics tools is beneficial.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, Analytics, or a related field are preferred.

  • You are collaborative by nature and enjoy building strong relationships across teams to achieve shared business objectives.
